What the journey is like
Fourteen kilometres, about twenty-five minutes — and the stretch that decides how the whole trip starts. Your chauffeur waits inside the terminal with your name on a sign, handles the luggage and has the car parked by the exit: no taxi queue, no hunting for a rank, no explaining an address in a language that is not yours.
The route leaves El Prat, skirts the Zona Franca and enters the city along the Ronda Litoral, with Montjuïc on your left and the port on your right. At peak hours — 7:00 to 9:30 and 18:00 to 20:00 — the drive can stretch to forty minutes. The price does not move: it is fixed at booking, and the traffic is our problem, not yours.
Areas you travel through
El Prat and the Zona Franca
The first minutes cross the Llobregat delta and the port industrial estate. Not the pretty part of the drive, but the fastest: the C-31 avoids the centre and saves a good fifteen minutes.
Montjuïc and the port
The Ronda Litoral runs below Montjuïc hill, the castle above and the cruise terminals below. It is the first recognisable view of Barcelona, and it arrives ten minutes after leaving the airport.
Eixample and Ciutat Vella
Depending on the hotel, you enter via Paral·lel towards the Gothic Quarter or via Gran Via towards the Eixample. Old-town streets are narrow and some are pedestrian: the chauffeur stops at the closest legal point to your door and walks the luggage over.
What to see when you arrive
Sagrada Família
Gaudí's basilica, under construction since 1882 and still unfinished. Entry is by timed slot: book it weeks ahead.
Passeig de Gràcia
The avenue that holds Casa Batlló and La Pedrera, both by Gaudí, four blocks apart. It is also the luxury shopping street.
Gothic Quarter
The medieval core, between the cathedral and Plaça Reial. Two hours on foot covers it, and no car goes in: the chauffeur drops you at the edge.
Montjuïc
The hill you see on the way in: the MNAC, the Fundació Joan Miró, the gardens and the castle. The best view over the port is up here.
Before you travel
The airport has two terminals, far apart. Tell us yours when booking: the chauffeur waits inside, in the right arrivals hall.
If the flight is delayed there is nothing to tell us: we track the flight number and the pickup moves by itself.
Barcelona has a low-emission zone. Our fleet complies, so there is no access restriction and no surcharge for entering the centre.
Included in the price
- Meet and greet with a name sign on arrival
- Flight tracking: if it is delayed, the chauffeur adjusts the pickup
- 60 minutes of free waiting at the airport and the port
- Door to door, no stops and no shared passengers
- Child seats and boosters at no extra cost
- Price fixed at booking: traffic and detours do not change it
